Attention Juniors and Seniors: Please check your school email for your Capstone Day venue assignments. We apologize to those who received the incorrect assignments. If you did not receive a corrected email, please contact the Capstone Department at: capstone@stjacademy.org.  

 

Hey Seniors, please be sure to submit items to the Senior Auction donation form this week. Students, faculty, and families can donate. You just need to ask! Check your email or the Class of 2025 Canvas page for details. And remember, faculty, juniors, sophomores, and freshmen: You can donate, too! Direct your donations to Mr. Eckhardt or Mr. Dussault.

 

Those interested in the Germany/Prague trip for next April should get their trip registration form into Ms. Gary by Thursday or Friday. Copies of that form may be picked from her in Morse.

 

The Governor’s Office is seeking a student representative for the State Board of Education. This appointment will be for a two-year term (first year as a non-voting member and the second year as a voting member). Rising Sophomores and rising Juniors are encouraged to apply. For more information, see Ms. Hanson in Student Life or Mrs. Legendre in the Headmaster’s Office. 

 

Model UN is meeting Wednesday at 3:30pm in the Colwell Center in the Library basement. We are looking for you to help us narrow down topics and plan for our upcoming NEKMUN fall conference at SJA. Reach out to Mr. Ehrean or Mr. Cushman with any questions.

 

This is the final week to donate items to benefit the Department for Children and Families in St. Johnsbury, Vermont. Donation bins are set up in the front lobby of the Field House. We are specifically seeking toiletries, skincare products, backpacks, toys, blankets, and clothing, with an emphasis on backpacks, clothing, and toys! For more information, please reach out to Rylee Strohm. Thank you for your support in improving the transitional experiences of foster children across Vermont.

 

Boys Varsity Ultimate beat Middlebury, 13-11, on Friday afternoon. Riley Copans scored 5 goals, and Zach Poole scored 2 goals and 2 assists!

 

On Friday evening the Girls Lacrosse team defeated Milton, making their record 2-0. Riley O’Brien was the leading scorer with 4 goals, Devlin Murphy added 3 for the Hat Trick. Several other members of the teams contributed to the scoring for the win! Unfortunately, the Boys Varsity Lacrosse team lost to Milton, 11-1. 

 

A very special Happy Belated Birthday to Ms. Hanson, who celebrated her birthday yesterday!
