Remote Learning Day

The following colleges will be offering a virtual visit today: Marymount University at 3pm and Assumption College at 3:30pm.  You must register for this visit to receive the link.

Are you constantly looking for ways to be moves ahead and strategize for the unpredictable future? Look no further, Chess Club is a good way to help you strategize and exercise your brains to always be steps ahead. Chess Club will be meeting in the cafeteria located in Streeter next week on Tuesday for white cohorts and Wednesday for green cohorts. If you forget the rules of chess, don’t worry—you’re allowed to check. (😊) Email Mr. Kwok with any questions.

Attention International Seniors and Juniors—don’t forget the registration deadline for the December 12th TOEFL is next Thursday, November 19th. Any student needing to take the TOEFL should email Mrs. McCaffrey at mmccaffrey@stjlabs.com to get the link to the registration form.

What is it about the library and Godzilla? The story is simple. Your library has two plastic Godzilla figurines, which we dress up for fun. These fictional reptiles with a love for reading have been disco goddesses, cheerleaders, a proud graduate, a prom-poser, Batman and Joker, Santa in a sleigh, Rosie the Riveter, and so much more. Today the Godzilla twins return as the Rainbow Flower Fairies of Peace, flying across our little sky with a gang of rainbow-tailed hummingbirds. It’s fun, and very, very silly. If you are in the library for study hall, or can visit on a browsing appointment (library@stjlabs.com or 751-7477 to make an appointment) come see the silly Zillas. Always on Instagram at sja_library.

Happy Birthday today to Issiah Willson and Nickolas Mull. Happy Birthday tomorrow to Dalton Mathews, and on Sunday to Gracie Villareal and Walter Hunt.
