Green Day

Seniors — don’t forget — if you haven’t stopped by the Headmaster’s Office to grab your cap & gown — do so today!

All 9th grade Health Classes will meet in South Church today for health class.

Today is the day! The 9th graders are hosting a spring dance in the Amphitheatre tonight from 8pm to 10pm.   The cost is $3 per person or $5 per couple. Join us for the Spring Fling!

Do you have questions about healthy relationships (red flag/green flags), concerns around dating violence, conversations around relationships in general, boundaries, self-care, etc. We are happy to announce that an Umbrella advocate will be on campus monthly at Tinker house for anyone who would like to stop in. Their first visit will be May 15 from 9-3.

This coming Monday is the deadline for any student interested in taking Summer Geometry or Summer PreCalc with the Academy. Both are 5-week online remote learning opportunities, running from June 19-July 21. The cost is $1,500 with scholarships available for local students. You must email Mr. Kinsella if you would like to be added to the list.

Namaste! A reminder that directly after school today, we will be meeting to go over important paperwork in Tinker.  See you there! Questions, reach out to Ms. Cote or Mr. Railla.

Seniors! Do you remember when you took part in the senior giving challenge? In case you forgot, the challenge was to have 80% or more seniors donate a dollar or more to the school. The results are in, and we made the 80%! As a reward, an alumni donor is doubling the money we gave to the school and giving it to the senior class. We now have approximately $940 more to spend on prom and our class gift. Way to go seniors!

Senior Class Council is pleased to announce a new senior privilege! A few lucky Seniors will be able to sign out and purchase lunch at the Hilltopper restaurant next week! There are a very limited number of 2 and 4 person tables available on Tuesday and Wednesday. If you are a Senior with C block free and are interested in this opportunity, email Theodora Montague by Monday and let her know who is in your party and which day you would prefer. The first people to contact her with this information will be given the tables. Please do not contact the Hilltopper directly.

Boys Volleyball Club is cancelled for today due to the Unified basketball playoff game today at 3:30. Please come out and support Unified basketball! We’ll get back at it next Friday after Spring Day.

As part of her Capstone about the value of interacting with animals, Emma Holt has arranged for a therapy dog to be brought on campus during the week before exams. The dog will be on Brantview Lawn, Monday, May 15th, and Friday, May 19th from 2:30 to 3:30. Come say hi to Rueben and let him help you relax.

Please congratulate Aden Marcotte, who won this year’s graduating senior award from the North Country Chorus. Please give Aden a big round of applause!

Happy Birthday today to Ashton Fischer and Ryder Smith!  Happy birthday tomorrow to Elmore Dickstein and Lydia Wang!
