White Day / Variety Day

Please dismiss the cheer team at the start of E block to prepare for Pep Chapel, and please dismiss the band members at 2:15.

Attention International Students — Any student wanting to take the March 18th TOEFL must register by Thursday, February 23rd. A link to register for the March TOEFL has been sent to your stjlabs email. See Mrs. McCaffrey in the Guidance Office with any questions.

Playoff games and events will begin shortly! The Athletics Department would like to remind everyone that all playoff games are VPA events, regardless of where they are played, and tickets are required for everyone attending the games. Adult tickets are $10.00 and student/senior tickets are $5.00.

There will be a mandatory meeting for all that are going on the ice climbing trip this weekend with the Outing Club right after school today in Colby 209.

Calling all actors! Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat auditions will be Monday and Tuesday at 3:30pm in the Blackbox. You do not have to come to both days of auditions. Please bring something to sing and be prepared to move and have a blast with this high energy musical. The audition info is on the Academy Theatre Canvas page and in front of the Blackbox. Go, go, go Joe!

Calling all folks with a research project that includes a science investigation to a meeting Tuesday and Wednesday (your choice of day) in Street 241. Have you been using the tools of math, science, computer simulations, or psychology to research a question that honors your priorities? Would you like to connect with potential mentors for the next step in your research? The Vermont Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math Fair in March may be that opportunity. The VT-STEM Fair showcases the work done by high school researchers and provides access to both expert feedback and peers as interested as you in seeking your own answers. Current research or research conducted during the last 12 months is eligible. This includes Capstone, AP Seminar, and Field Semester research along with independent projects. Come to a meeting either Tuesday or Wednesday inn Streeter 241 and learn about entering and preparing for the March 25 Vermont STEM Fair. Questions to Mr. Eckel.

Maya Torres needs help with her capstone. She wants to make it a conversation, an outlet, and a question to be answered: “How does exposure to a PWA (Predominantly White Area) affect Latino Social identity in the St. Johnsbury Community?” If you fit within this criteria and are willing to share your story and experiences as a Hispanic day student, email maya.torres@stjlabs.com. Your contribution to this study will be greatly appreciated and will also function as a reminder and reassurance that although there are few, you are not the only one.

Happy Birthday tomorrow to Daniel Li, and on Sunday to Kanan Gasimov!
