Green Day / Green & White Gear Day

 

Today’s schedule will be as follows:  A, B, D, E, and then C block. At 1:30pm, please report to the following locations to meet your advisor for the Walk for Hunger: Seniors – Brantview Lawn; Juniors — Brantview Lawn (closest to Brantview); Sophomores — Stowe Green; and 9th Graders —Mayo Lawn. A Pep Chapel in the Alumni Gym will immediately follow the walk. 

 

A gentle reminder that as we get into cold/flu season, please remember to cough into your elbow and wash your hands frequently to reduce the spread of germs.

 

Hey SJA! If you’re not one of the people who’ve been waiting all week for this Saturday’s “Welcome Back Dance,” now is the time to start! In case you forgot: The dance goes from 8 to 10:30pm in the Streeter Dining Hall, and the doors close at 9. The price is $4 per person and $6 per couple. The class of 2023 can’t wait to help you kick off the year of dances!

 

College Bound Hilltoppers — there will not be a University of New Hampshire visit today. The following colleges have visits on Monday: University of New England, University of Denver, and Goucher College. Please be sure to check Naviance to view all details. 

 

Attention International Students — The registration deadline for the October 15th TOEFL is today! Any student needing to take the October 15th TOEFL should stop by the Guidance Office to register with Mrs. McCaffrey by 12pm today. 

 

If you’re interested in the international trip to Florence, please have your application submitted no later than Monday. If you were not able to attend an informational event, please see Mrs. Loder in Morse 302 by the end of day on Monday. Applications will be reviewed next week.

 

Attention Mountain Bikers: Check your stjlabs email today for information regarding Saturday’s club ride, pics from last week’s race, and registration information for upcoming races.

 

The Vermont Youth Council is a group comprised of 27 Vermont youth from all over the state who are responsible for advising the Governor and General Assembly on the policies that impact young people’s lives. If interested in more information, stop by the Nurses’ Office or the Headmaster’s Office for more information.
