Students — please bring your ID card to swipe to get into each of the buildings during the school day. Our faculty and staff are not always going to be available to let you in after class starts. If you have lost your ID card, then please stop by to see Ms. Lang in the Student Life office to order a new one.

 

Ms. Greenstone’s B Block US History class should report directly to the library today.

 

Faculty — please release the cheer team at 2:00pm to prepare for Pep Chapel.

 

9th and 10th grade students with a study hall, this announcement is for you! You must report to the location that is on your schedule. If you received a new schedule this morning, check and make sure you are heading to the correct location. Once your study hall teacher has completed their attendance, you can ask for a pass to the Learning Center. 

 

Attention all Hilltoppers! Come have some fun, Hot in the Shade tonight at the SJA Friday Football game! The stands, and crowd, will be decked out in beach vacation attire and decorations. Dress appropriately but have fun! See you tonight for Friday Football, on the Fairbanks field, at 7 pm! Go Hilltoppers!

 

Today is the last day to sign up for the October 12th PSAT or SAT and you only have until 3PM! Please see Ms. Carr in the Guidance Office with any questions.

 

Calling all College Bound Hilltoppers! The following college has a visit on Monday: Brandeis University at 10 am in the Colby Conf. Room. Be sure to sign up for their visits on Naviance and to view all details. If you are scheduled to be in class during the time of the visit, please check in with your teacher before coming. You are also required to return to class after the completion of the visit and attendance will be turned into the Main Office.

 

Don’t forget — if you are 18 or older, stop by the Dining Hall during C block today to meet the League of Women Voters and register to vote in the November elections!

 

There will be a mandatory meeting for all those attending this Sunday’s rock-climbing trip right after school at 3:30 in the Alumni Gym. The meeting will last a maximum of ten minutes!

 

Attention International Students — The registration deadline for the October 15th TOEFL is Friday, September 23. Any student needing to take the October 15 TOEFL should stop by the Guidance Office to register with Mrs. McCaffrey.

 

Academy Theatre will be presenting “Clue-On Stage” this November in Fuller Hall. Audition information can be found outside the Blackbox or on the Academy Theatre Canvas page. If you did not sign up at the activity fair and would like to be added to the canvas page, please email Mr. Walker.  Stay tuned for the audition dates and times!

 

Not playing a fall sport, but want to get ready for basketball season? Next Wednesday, September 14, there will be a meeting for all boys basketball players not participating in a fall sport. This will be a brief meeting to provide information for fall workouts and open gym times. The meeting will be held in the gym at 3:30. For any questions, or if you are unable to attend, please contact Coaches Rainville, Hale or Yates.

 

Science Olympiad will meet today, Friday, in Streeter 241 from 3:15-4:30 to build bridges and learn about Fermi Estimation processes.  

 

Brain Bee meets in Streeter 241 on Tuesday from 3:45-4:45.
