Spring Day

For Chapel on Monday: Seniors report to Fuller Hall; Juniors and Sophomores report to your normal advisory locations; and Freshmen report to the South Church. Monday, May 23 will be a White Day.

A reminder that the exam schedule starts on Tuesday. There will not be regular classes Tuesday-Friday next week or Tuesday, May 31. The last day of classes will be on Wednesday, June 1, followed by Last Chapel which will begin at 1:00pm.

If you have not voted yet for Student body President or your Class Reps, the voting concludes at noon right after your advisory meeting. Remind a friend — and know that if your friend has not voted yet — it is not because they are a procrastinator, it is more likely that they are an extremely analytical person who is carefully making a decision among many fine candidates.

The dates for the paving of Brantview Drive have changed. Paving will now take place on Monday and Tuesday of next week. If you park in the Field House lot, please enter and exit using the South Main or Barker Ave gates.

There are 30 seats available for the Six Flags trip on May 29 and they are now open to everyone! That’s right, $40 will get any SJA student into Six Flags for roller coasters, waterparks, fun and excitement. Sign-up in Campus Life! You do not want to miss this opportunity for some end of the year fun.

Seniors — if you have not picked up your cap and gown, please stop by the Headmaster’s Office today or Monday.

Attention female athletes.  Better players and better athletes are made in the off-season… if you want to improve your basketball skills over the summer, come to a meeting right after Spring Day to learn more about the opportunities that will be available this summer for workouts and gym time with Coach Huntington and her staff. We will meet in the library immediately after school.  If you cannot make the meeting, please contact Coach Huntington for more information. See you in the Library after Spring Day!

If you are wondering where capture the Flag is today, it is at Brantview Lawn at 10:45.

Don’t forget — the Skills USA competitors will be selling Sushi, Whoopie Pies, Cookies, and Root Beer Floats today! The booth with be at the Amphitheater right after Chapel. The cost will be $2.00 for all items. Please stop by our booth and support our state gold medal winners.

Today at 10:00am, you should meet in front of the library if you want to be part of the Scavenger Hunt. It involves a little trivia, it involves posing for photos, and possibly will allow you to meet somebody new and exciting.

The Café will be ending breakfast at 9:00am today, but don’t fret!  From 9:00-11:30am, they will be selling Fried Dough, Corn Dogs, Strawberry milkshakes and soda. Items can be purchased with cash or funds on your ID cards!

Note: If you are one of the people wondering if you can do Slip and Slide without getting wet, the answer is “no” and perhaps 4 Square or Badminton might be more to your liking.
