The Girls Varsity Basketball team had a remarkable year, finishing the season with one of the best records in school history of 21-2, and runner-up in the state for Division 1. In addition to a great year by the entire team, we have some individual recognitions to highlight.
All Metro League Team Awards, as voted on by Metro Coaches, are as follows:
First Team All Metro Player — Cassidy Kittredge
Second Team All Metro Player — Adrianna Hever
Honorable Mention — Brianna Bunnell and Anna Ebert
Metro Coach of the Year — Ms. Huntington
In addition, as voted by the Vermont Basketball Coaches Association, the awards for this season are as follows: Kyra Nelson, Cassidy Kittredge, and Adrianna Hever will be playing in the Senior All-Star game representing the North on Saturday, March 22 at Windsor High School. Anna Ebert earned the honor of being one of the top 8 underclassmen in all of Division 1, and Coach Huntington, for the second year in a row, was voted Coach of the Year.
The Hilltoppers have much to be proud of! Congratulations to our award winners, and to the entire squad on a great year!
