Green Day

Today is the last day for yearbook photos. If you are an underclassman and have not yet stopped by Fuller Hall stage to have your photo taken, you must do so today during your study hall, free block, or immediately after school. Mr. Legge will be there from 8:30 am – 3:15 pm. Faculty and Staff are welcome to stop by at any time as well.

Juniors and Seniors, University of Maine at Farmington, and Alfred University are on campus today for a visit. Please see Naviance or Mrs. LaBounty for details and to register. Be sure to check in with your teacher before attending.

Today is the final day. See Mrs. Murphy in S208 if you are interested in attending the Women Can Do Conference in October!

There will be an interest meeting for the summer trip to Alaska after school today in Ranger 117 at 3:15. If you are interested in rafting, boating, hiking, and ecology, this could be a good fit! Current 9th-11th graders can participate! This is a critical moment to determine whether this trip can run. So, if you think you might want to come to Alaska this June, come to the meeting today! If you can’t attend, email Mr. Demsky or Ms. Photiades to indicate your interest. We hope to see you there!

There will be no improv after school today. We will see you next Wednesday! If you have any issues with this cancellation, please write a spirited email to Mr. Keffer.

Varsity Field Hockey improved to a 3 – 3 record with a 5 – 3 win over Montpelier. We had a great overall team win and we capitalized on our opportunities in the circle. Our strong offensive skills were highlighted by Maggie Langlais (1 goal, 1 assist), Meredith Roy (1 goal, 1 assist), Aven Thomas (2 goals), and Anika Giese (1 goal, 1 assist) and Ella Blanchard (1 assist). Rowyn Tomczyk took charge in the circle with 6 saves and some amazing clears. Go Hilltoppers!

Will Eaton finished atop an 80-golfer field of Division 1 and Division 2 golfers to win the North Country Invitational at Newport Country Club for his 5th straight individual win. He shot a season best, two-under par 70, to take the medalist position. Carlos Sastre had a top 20 finish with a score of 87, and Bruno Alvarez and Oliver Johnson carded 92s to complete the scoring.

Happy Birthday today to Brynna Wright! Happy Birthday tomorrow to Isabelle Simone, and on Sunday to Jason King, and Margaret Williams! A special Happy Birthday to Aubrey Fontaine on Sunday from her advisory!
