Spanish II (Accelerated)

Credits: 1

A continuation of the work of Spanish I. Emphasis is placed on student creation of language, rather than learned patterned responses. Student learning is discovery based. Flexibility in the curriculum allows for student creativity in the language learning process. Listening and speaking skills are still important, but added emphasis is given to the development of reading and writing skills. This course is an appropriate placement for some students who have successfully completed two or more years of accelerated French or Latin.

Prerequisite: Successful completion of Spanish I (Accelerated) or with department approval.
