Athletic Policies & Expectations

Welcome to St. Johnsbury Academy’s Athletic Policies & Expectations page. We want your athletic experience at SJA to be filled with success: both as a member of a team and in your personal experience as a student-athlete or family member. We view participation in interscholastic athletics as an honor and privilege. We expect commitment and a strong work ethic. We hope you will be able to say you are proud to be a part of St. Johnsbury Academy Athletics.

For all student-athletes participating this year, we require you to complete the forms below. Parents, please review the Parents Handbook as well before signing the Commitment Form. All forms must be submitted before a student-athlete can begin practices, including your physical form completed by your health care provider. We want you practicing on day one and would hate for paperwork to be a hold up!

You will find answers to many questions and explanations of our Athletic Department policies and practices in the Parent Handbook. You can find a link to it below and we strongly encourage you to read it carefully and attend our preseason “Meet the Coaches” event.

See you soon,

Patrick Rainville
Athletic Director
