Lucky Day for SJA is a focused moment for the entire SJA community—alumni, families, faculty, staff, trustees, and friends—to demonstrate collective confidence in the mission of St. Johnsbury Academy. Broad participation strengthens the SJA Annual Fund, which sustains our work and supports our students and programs throughout the year.
It is also a moment to give in gratitude or show class pride. Dedicate your gift to a teacher, coach, mentor, advisor, or friend who shaped the SJA experience for you or someone you care about, and we’ll notify them of your recognition. If you are an alum, your gift turns Hilltopper pride into impact and boosts your class participation efforts, particularly meaningful as we approach reunion weekend (May 29-31, 2026).
Q: When is Lucky Day for SJA? What is the goal?
Lucky Day for SJA is March 17, 2026.
It’s all about participation! Together, we’ll support robust academics, hands-on career and technical programs, the arts, athletics, student leadership initiatives, individualized support, and the broad range of opportunities that help our students build confidence and successfully prepare for the future. Gifts, of any size, help strengthen SJA for current and future Hilltoppers.
Q: Can I pre-schedule a donation for Lucky Day for SJA?
Help build momentum early by making a gift any time starting on February 26, 2026. Participation from this day on will count toward overall goals.
Q: Who can donate?
Everyone is invited and encouraged to participate. Gifts of every size are appreciated. Donations through the Lucky Day for SJA will be received and receipted by the Alumni Office. All donations are tax-deductible.
Q: If I live internationally, can I still participate and make a gift?
Yes. A Lucky Day for SJA brings together our entire school community from around the world. You may make your gift at Lucky Day for SJA.
