A reminder to all who wish to go on the Poetry Out Loud field trip that they must return their permission slips to Mrs. Mackenzie in Ranger 110. Let’s cheer on Greer!

 

The University of Vermont Math department is holding their annual high school math competition today. This exam is a 2-hour competition against other high schoolers in the state of Vermont. The Math club will be hosting it in Severance 15 today beginning at 3:45. No late arrivals. We will have treats! Be there or be squared.

 

Interested in NCAA college basketball and the excitement of March Madness? Come get into the game and purchase brackets at lunch today $3 for one bracket, $5 for one women’s and one men’s bracket. Enter in a chance to win Dunkin Donuts for your advisory, as well as to donate a part of the proceeds to a charity of your choice, and of course the winner gets bragging rights for a year. Stop buy at lunch today and check out the fun of bracketology!

 

Athletes, we are hosting a nutrition session for you tomorrow from 3:45-4:15 in the Gym. Games, door prizes, and conversations about athletic nutrition. Come ready to party. “Lift session” in the weight room to follow, 4:15-5pm. See you there. All are welcome!

 

Attention Gender and Sexuality Union members and friends: If you are interested in coming to the annual Youth Leadership Conference on March 30th and 31st, please talk to Mr. Quinn before the end of the day on Wednesday. The conference will be a Zoom meeting for part of the day on the 30th and an opportunity to meet with leaders in Montpelier on the 31st. If you are interested in attending, please talk to Mr. Quinn before the end of the day today! That’s right, cave ides martes because today is the last day to register for the annual Youth Leadership Conference.

 

This is it folks, your last chance to get out and climb frozen water! This Sunday, the Outing Club invites you to our last ice climbing trip of the year. Get the ice while it is still in! If you would like to go, you must see Mr. Weiss for permission slips and boot sizing. We have limited boots, so get to Colby 209 ASAP! Get after it!

 

Science Olympiad meets today through Friday this week. Event assignments depend on your being present and preparing.  

 

Science Fair entrants: please check in with Mr. Eckel about preparing to present your work at the Science Fair in two weeks.  

 

All CTE students who are members of SkillsUSA must meet in Mrs. McGarvin’s room, Streeter 225, after school today at 3:15 to discuss the upcoming fundraiser auction and dinner. We need everyone in attendance to discuss ticket sales and donation collection. If you have a conflict, please speak to your SkillsUSA advisor today.
