White Cohort Day

 

Jenks photos are in! If you had your photo taken by Jenks studio, please stop by the Headmaster’s Office to pick up your envelope.

 

Students — a reminder that classes in Newell Hall have been moved for the next couple of weeks for HVAC renovations. Please be sure to report to your new location for any classes you have in Newell Hall.

 

The following college will be hosting a virtual visit today—Maine Maritime Academy at 3pm.

 

Attention class of 2024 — if you are interested in running for student government or class officer, please get your petition into Campus Life or to Mr. Racenet by Thursday, December 3rd. If you are interested or have any questions, please stop and see Mr. Racenet in Streeter 266.

 

SCOPE will meet on Thursday this week at 3:15 via Zoom. We will be working out the details for the day of kindness. Current members should check their emails for a link to the meeting. If you’re interested in learning more about SCOPE, we invite you to email Mrs. Morris at cmorris@stjacademy.org for a link to Thursday’s meeting. 

 

Attention all creative writers: it is time to submit your work for the prestigious Scholastic Awards! Awards are given both at the state level and at the national level. Our school has had many winners at both levels, so please be encouraged to give it a try! Categories include poetry, short stories, essays, novels, sci-fi, writing portfolios, and more. The deadline is December 15, so don’t delay! Applications cost a small fee; please contact Mrs. Mackenzie if you need assistance with payment.
