Green Day / VCAP Testing Day; Delayed Opening Schedule

As the weather gets warmer, please remember the dress code — T-shirts are not allowed, and all tops need to have sleeves and be an appropriate length. All skirts and dresses should be no shorter than 2-inches above the knee.  And as always — earbuds are not allowed when walking between classes during the school day.

Capstone Day is right around the corner and will be a full day event this spring! Presentations will be spread across three sessions (two in the morning and one in the afternoon). Juniors and Seniors, please check your stjlabs email for a survey from the Capstone Department asking about where you would like to be assigned on Capstone Day. We know many of you are excited to attend particular sessions to help support your classmates, so you can indicate your top three venue choices for each session. We will do our best to accommodate your requests, but please keep in mind there are space limitations for some of the venues. The survey must be completed by Monday, April 17th.

Reminder to sophomores all Cards for Our Class orders and payment are due today! Please give them to Mrs. Holcombe in Streeter 256 before the end of the day. Thank you to all who supported our class fundraiser!

The SJA international trip to Nepal will be next April, which means we have some planning to do. Please come to a short meeting with Ms. Cote & Mr. Railla after school on Friday, @ 3:30pm in Tinker House. We’ll go over the details of the trip and you’ll have a chance to hear about this once in a lifetime journey to the top of the world.

Seniors — Are you a child or grandchild of a St. Johnsbury Weidmann employee or retiree and are planning to study engineering, business, or a science related subject in college? If yes, you are eligible to apply for the 2023 Founder’s Prize. This is a $600 prize that is awarded to a graduating senior during the commencement exercises.  Applications are due no later than May 3, 2023.  Stop by the Guidance Office or the Alumni Office for more information.
