Green Cohort Day

All Students, Faculty, and Staff: Don’t forget to order your lunch today for next week! Please do so by clicking on the link on your Advisory Page in Canvas. The link will close tomorrow morning at 8:45 a.m.

Don’t forget — Jenks Studio is here to take your photos in Fuller Hall! This is a requirement for all underclassmen, even if you do not plan to place an order, as we need your photo for the yearbook. If you did not have your photo taken during your study hall on Monday, please plan to do so today or tomorrow. If you do not have an assigned study hall, please plan to have your photo taken during your advisory period. Seniors — if you have not had a senior photo taken yet, please have Jenks take your picture as a backup for the yearbook. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Legendre in the Headmaster’s Office or Mrs. Hegarty in the Campus Life Office.

The following college visits are being offered virtually this afternoon: Gettysburg College at 3pm; Stony Brook University, State University of New York at 3:30pm; Goucher College at 4pm; The American University of Paris at 4:30pm; Valparaiso University at 5pm; Saint Michael’s College at 5:30pm; Dean College at 6:30pm.

Last year’s Colwell Scholars in the Green Cohort are asked to meet with Mr. Ehrean after school today in Ranger 115. This will be a physically distanced meeting. If you have any questions, please email Mr. Ehrean.

Today, Tech Storm, the school’s competitive robotics team, will have a meeting on Zoom as an introduction to the program and provide those that signed up through the survey an opportunity to get acquainted with the team. The meeting will be today at 3:30 (after conference period) and will last about an hour. This meeting will be particularly important for those new to the program to attend; but returning team members are encouraged to participate as well. Those of you that signed up through the survey should have received an email from Mr. Baker with the Zoom link yesterday afternoon. Remember: Robots don’t rule; they serve!!

Essential Feminist Books, now on display in the library. The late Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg was a tireless champion for the rights of women and girls. The notorious RBG once said, “My mother told me to be a lady, and for her that meant be your own person, be independent.” Dive into some timely reading with Essential Feminist Books. Happy Birthday today to Jodi Roy and Wyatt Knaus.
