Daughters must be age 16 or older and have a parental waiver to be in a course designed for adults.

This BYOC (Bring Your Own Car) hands-on class for women will give you fundamental knowledge of what’s under your car’s hood and how to maintain it. This three-hour course will cover the basics. In the first hour you’ll look under the hood and learn to identify all the parts and what they do. In the second hour you’ll learn how to check and maintain these parts. In the final hour you’ll learn how to change a tire. This is a hands-on course, so you will learn by doing! The course will meet at St. Johnsbury Academy’s auto shop.

Instructor: Kyle Ryan

Kyle Ryan is a historian and veteran of the US Army Corps of Engineers.
Raised on a Texas cattle ranch, he learned early to repair just about anything.
