Green Day / Twin Day
Alright twins — let’s keep the theme days going! Tomorrow is Class Theme Day and Friday is a free Green and White Variety Day!
Attention Student Government… you have a short, but very important meeting tomorrow morning at 7:35 a.m. in the Mayo Lounge. This is mandatory and has significance for the days to come.
Tickets for the 117th playing of the SJA/LI Game are now available for purchase at the Field House front desk. Everyone is required to have a ticket to enter the game. $5 for adults, $3 for students. Tickets can be purchased through Venmo for your convenience.
Saturday’s Spirit Week Dance will be in the Gym from 7-10pm. The cost is $3.00, and you must arrive by 8:00pm in order to be admitted. Please note that this dance is only for current Hilltopper students.
Attention all Hilltopper fans: We will be offering a bus to and from “The Game” this Saturday leaving Brantview Drive at 12:15pm. This bus is for day & boarding students. Space is limited, so stop by Student Life to reserve your spot with Mr. LaCroix!
The following colleges have visits today: Muhlenberg College, Suffolk University, and College of the Holy Cross. Please see Naviance for details.
Attention International Students — The registration deadline for the November 12th TOEFL is this Friday, October 21 at noon! Any student needing to take the November 12 TOEFL should stop by the Guidance Office to register with Mrs. McCaffrey.
Do you have class spirit? Do you like hot cocoa? Do you like free hot cocoa? How about movies? If you said yes to any of these things, come get in the spirit and celebrate the awesome Senior theme by watching Back to the Future with your friends in Mayo Lounge tonight. The doors will open at 6:15, the movie starts at 6:30. There will be hot cocoa. There will be fun! Tonight, 6:30, Mayo Lounge.
Don’t forget — if interested in this Sunday’s rock-climbing trip with the Outing Club, get your permission slips into the Student Life Office ASAP! Dare to explore!
All students planning to attend the Youth Environmental Summit should check their email for permission forms that must be completed by parents. If you plan to go but have not talked to Mr. Eckel, you need to visit him today during or after CP in Streeter 241. Completed permission forms are due in Streeter 241 by Friday of this week.
The Tennis Club will not meet today in order for our members to help their classes with the spirit week skits, hallway decorations, and floats. Have fun and see you all next week!
The Intro to Baking class will be selling Oreo, Raspberry Swirl, and Plain Cheesecakes after school on Thursday.
The Skills USA group will be selling Stadium Nachos, cookies, soda, and Whoopie Pies after Pep Chapel on Friday.
Do you know what fuel to use on the DeLorean’s Flux Capacitor? Cheesecake and Cardboard, of course!
Flo from Progressive, the song “The Middle”, robo calls, people chewing gum loudly, the Chipmunks movies and their squeakquals, and carboard announcements…What do they all have in common? They are all annoying. However, you can at least make the cardboard announcements stop by bringing cardboard donations to the trailer on Brantview Drive. The more cardboard you bring, the faster these announcements will stop, and the bigger the Bonfire will be.
And finally — it’s Wednesday, so it’s time for Mr. Camelio’s Joke of Week… Did you know Teslas don’t have that new car smell? They have more of an Elon Musk.
