White Cohort Day

 

All Students, Faculty, and Staff: Don’t forget that you need to order your lunch for next week by 8:45am today!

 

Attention Freshman Vermont students—a reminder that tomorrow you will be taking the SBACs from 8:00-11:30 am. An email was sent to your stjlabs email with your testing location and information on what you need to do before testing begins. There will also be a list of student locations posted outside the Academic Office and on the bulletin board in Streeter Hall.

 

All other students not testing—please note that you will have a normal Friday class schedule tomorrow, but there will be no advisory meetings. A Block starts at 8:20am.

 

Attention Seniors: On Tuesday, Mr. Dussault emailed seniors who were approved for E block study hall sign-out. If you applied for this Senior Privilege, be sure to check your stjlabs for this email from Mr. Dussault.

 

This is a second call for Senior donations for the Senior Auction. Only a handful of Seniors have offered donations so far. We want to see more Seniors featured in the “Senior” Auction! Please check your email for more information and a link to the donation form. If you have questions, see Mr. Dussault.

 

Attention Readers! Now is the time to return your overdue books to the library before April Break! If you wish to renew any, please bring them in and we will renew them for you. If you think that you have lost one of our books, please let us know.

 

A reminder—Senior Bella Canete is hoping to change the statistics in the number of accidents caused by distracted drivers by making people more aware of the dangers of texting while driving as part of the #802phonesdown!headsup! video contest. Check out the Academy’s social media channels to vote for Bella’s video entitled “A Text That Can Wait.” Voting for the People’s Choice award ends this Sunday, April 11 at noon. Good luck Bella!

 

College Bound Seniors and Juniors a friendly reminder that there will be a virtual college visit today with Bryant University at 3:30 pm. Visit your Naviance account for the virtual link.

 

Scholarship Spotlight—St. Johnsbury Rotary Club—$1,000—this award is presented to senior going on to post-secondary education or pursuing technical/vocational training. Deadline to apply is May 7th. Please visit your Naviance account for additional information.

 

Class of 2022 and 2023—Be sure to check your STJLABS email for information pertaining to your testing location and other information you will need for Tuesday’s SAT/PSAT10 School Day Testing. Any questions regarding testing should be direct to Mrs. Hale in the Guidance office via email at phale@stjacademy.org.
