Green Cohort Day

Any students who checked out library books from last year and haven’t yet returned them are asked to kindly bring them back next week. We will be emailing you and your advisors an overdue notice as we attempt to locate library books that have been collecting dust in a corner of your house since the end of last school year. Thank you so much for your cooperation!

Students who are interested in studying abroad either during their high school years or immediately thereafter should meet with Mr. Ehrean. He has information about overseas programs sponsored by the U.S. State Department. The cost of these programs is covered by scholarships. Application deadlines are approaching, so act fast. Mr. Ehrean can be found in the Colwell Center or in Ranger 115 during conference period.

Happy Birthday today to Hannah Ferry, Rain Bai, and Victoria Scherer.

Led by Evan Thornton-Sherman’s individual victory and the dynamic duo of Hale Boyden and Braden Anthes, the boys cross country team beat Craftsbury Academy 21-35 on Thursday at the Rankin Property. Luke Chadderdon and Mason Davis completed the scoring for the boys.

The girls cross-country team had an excellent showing at their first meet held at the Rankin property. Merrick Hemond placed first beating out Craftsbury’s top runner. Isabella Bostic, Peggy Fischer, Siri Jolliffe, and Aine Fannon rounded out the top five.

The boys golf team came in 9th overall at the Neshobe Golf Club. This result ends the boys season. However, Nelson Eaton qualified to represent the Academy and compete for an individual state title at the Barre Country Club on Wednesday. Coach Racenet would like to thank all of the team members for their commitment this season, especially the seniors Nelson Eaton, Brady Beck and Phillip Read Santos.
