Photographer, Educator, Fine Arts Department Chair at St. Johnsbury Academy
Rosie was born and raised in St. Johnsbury, Vermont. She feels fortunate to be making a life ‘at home’ close to both her own and her husband’s family, not to mention her closest and dearest childhood friends. Rosie Prevost began her career in the commercial field; she operated her own studio, Woodside Photography, from 1992 thru 2001 until she began teaching photography at St. Johnsbury Academy. She was a member of the 215 College Gallery in Burlington from its inception in 2005 to its closing in 2011. Rosie is currently the Fine Arts department chair at St. Johnsbury Academy where she joyfully teaches photography rooted in traditional silver based materials. Rosie studied photography at Endicott College and received her BA from Vermont College. She has taught at St. Johnsbury Academy since January 2001 and resides with her husband in St. Johnsbury.
