Open Mic is back on campus after the Walk for a Healthy Community on Friday afternoon. Make your way to the Mayo Lounge to show off your talents or to just listen and support your friends. Sing a song, share a poem, tell some jokes…Pretty much anything you want to share. It runs from 3-6pm and coffee, tea, and cookies will be available.

Hilltopper Mountain Biking raced at Proctor Academy on Wednesday in a field of over 300 riders from schools across New England. In the most advanced women’s Category A, Tillie Lange finished 5th. In men’s Category B, Brody Dussault finished 3rd.
The Boys’ Golf team took 7th in the Newport Invitational at Newport Country club on Thursday.
Girls’ Golf was third out of five teams competing at Basin Harbor on Friday. Hannah Wigger tied for fifth.
Girls’ Cross Country won the Danville Invitational on Saturday with score of 22. Stella van der Linde took 1st and Sara Lund took 3rd.
On Saturday the Boys Varsity Cross Country team competed in the Manchester invitational. The boys were led by Joel Thornton Sherman in 20th and Bryan Stocker in 24th. The JV team ran in the Danville invite and were led by Dan Carters 2nd place finish.
Varsity Field Hockey played a strong game, but fell, 2-0, to Mt. Abraham. Josie Royer played strong in goal with 14 saves.
Varsity Girls’ Soccer Team came back from a 1-0 deficit to win the first soccer game played on Burr & Burton’s new turf. St Johnsbury Academy goals were from Ailee Stratton and Lucy Moriarty, both assisted by Laney Cahoon. JV Girls’ soccer lost to Burr & Burton. Noelle Washington scored with an assist from Cora Adams.
